In the celebratory scene I think we should have a dog kennel and a cat dish to represent all the dogs and cats we own between us.

So I would like us to think up a suitable name for the mini dog and the mini cat that live in Minis4NZland. Then these names can be placed on front of the dog kennel and the cat dish.

Names suggested thus far:

Tania: Our dog is called Sprocket and my female siamese cat is Mortishaa

Nan: we have had Sinbad, Tangelo (a small orange) MacGyver, Peaches and Lucy....whilst in Hawaii I thought a great name would be Maui for my next cat......now WHY I didn't think of that while living here, I do not know...after all, he did fish up the North Island, and cats love to fish.

Elli: the famous Jinx the Wondercat of Whitby (just plain "Jinx" to his friends).

Diane: Cat name: Sassy2 Dog name: Master Pips
OK, here are some more names to add to your growing list:
Dog - Puffer, Maximillian, Bonzo, Rusty,
Cat - Spikie, Smokey, Tabitha, Samantha
Rabbit - Fluff Ball, Snowball, Twitchie, FuzzieBunnie

Dorothée: How about Minie the cat and Little (or Maxi) the dog :-)

Cathy: Cat name: Amber Dog name: Jim

Lyn: dogs: Rex (the singing dog) and Willie (the scavenger). My cats names: Sweetie, Mad Cat, Puss, Fluffy, Tommy. What about Rabbits? Ours were Velvet and Whiskers What about Chooks? My wee grandaughter's batams are. Speedy Bonnet, Black chook, Brown Chook, Baby Hooner.

Pam: "Russell" would be a good name for a dog - after Cathy and especially if we could have a Jack Russell terrier - sorry I am not clever enough to volunteer to make one.
Our cats have been called Sooty, Snifter, Mickey (apologies to Micki in Scotland), Tinky, Smoodge, Ringi (after Ringo Starr - but Ringo turned out to be a girl). My daughters at present have Oscar, Merlin, Freddie (who is a girl and whose name was originally as Fraidie because she was such a scaredy cat). What about Minzie for a cat?   Sort of short for "minis for new zealand."

Judith: after the hilarity last week about naming cat and dog for the celebration scene...I think the cat should be called Camel and the dog Moose. Not the ideal BBQ fare but just to remember all the fun.
