Pay to Search Programs - Pay to Surf Programs - Other Pay Programs
Unfortunately, in recent months most pay to surf programs have decreased their pay rates substantially due to falling demand for on-line advertising. There is some good news though. Pay to search companies still offer competitive rates and only require a small amount of your time :-)

1 star - not worth mentioning
Review: NetFlip is one of the few pay to surf sites that have not substantially reduced their rates, and continues to consistently send out checks. . Nothing to download, no banner obscuring your view (unlike the old pay to surf programs), and it yields great search results. For a limited time, sign up and receive $3.00 instantly.

Search Cactus - This Info Space powered company offers you $.02 per click for each paid search result. It takes only a few minutes to earn at least $.40 each night. Just for signing up you will immediately be credited with $2.00.

Sabril - This is one of the newer pay to search the Internet programs that pays you to click on sponsored search results up to 15 unique paid searches per day.

Note: I can no longer in good conscience recommend any of the traditional pay to surf companies. On average, they pay only $2.00 per month after spending hours online with their ad banners running. Right now, pay to search programs are the only ones worth signing up for.
Desktop Dollars - Unlimited earning potential.

Cashsurfers - In October 2000 Cashsurfers placed a $30 (US dollar) 120 hour per month (4 hours a day) cap on earning. No more unlimited earning potential :-(
Review: The ad banner is slightly larger than most, but is very stable. The Cashsurfer "auditing" process - each monthly point total is checked for cheating - unfortunately takes several months. However, the fact that there is no limit to how much you can earn per month makes payment worth the wait. [2 Stars]
Adsenger - Whenever you are connected to the net, you have the option of accepting ads to view. View them only when you are free - You are in total control! Have a slow connection? No problem! Adsenger does not slow down your connection speed while you surf the internet. Make up to $10 for viewing a commercial. Make money in a fun, easy and non-intrusive way!
Epipo.com - Earn $.20 per hour up to 60 hours a month.
Review: The Epipo surf windows best feature is the cash or points monitor. The surf window's monitor keeps track of your earnings (which can be displayed in points or dollars) as you surf the Internet. Only minor problems with their web page prevent this program from receiving the highest possible rating. [2 Stars]
Utopiad - Unlimited hours, but their pay rates have decreased as of August 2000.
Review: Pay rates have decreased significantly making Utopiad by far the worst unlimited pay to surf program. [1 Star]
GoToWorld - often ranks in the top 20 most visited Internet sites, but pays less than Alladvantage due to its smaller advertiser base. But recently they have launched a "get paid to chat" program as well as other new features. The Gotoworld pay to surf program has expanded to 8 new countries, China, Japan, Germany, France, Spain, Brazil, Australia, and Korea.
Review: The good news is each GotoWorld member receives credit for up to 40 hours of surfing with their ad banner per month. The bad news is their pay rates are among the lowest of all the pay to surf programs. The last time I used Gotoworld they were paying under $4.00 per month. Yuck. [1 Star]

Skiddily - This program pays you to set Skiddily as your defaut start page. In the month of October a new pay to search feature will also be available.
Ignifuge - This one is a bit different. You are payed for up to 10 hits on their website per day, 300 per month total. Their pay rates have recently increased. I now receive approximately $7.00 per month just for making Ignifuge my start page. Important note: 10 minutes must seperate each hit in order to receive credit.
