Why does he think I protest him?
I love him dearly so
If only he knew that I am just like him
A soul turned to nightshade black
A life destroyed by betrayal and lost trust
No one to help me through it all
Can you do what they could never?
I wait for the day we meet
A reunion within a first meet
A love that never will die
A trust that I built complete
If you fall I will be there
With the arms of an angel
A helping hand to you my love
If you fall I will catch you
If I fall I will fall for good
If you catch me then save on your life
I love the one who hates himself
Now I ask
Why?
Why do you love me?
I have your problems as you have yours
Now the answer is yet to appear
Please help me
Save my soul
Love me always
My vampire Lord
And so that is the end of that. I never replied to Laura's poem to keep the chain going, but even back then, in early October of 1998, I knew something was happening to me. Sure, I tried to deny it, and later on, I ended up hurting Laura without realizing it. The past shapes the future, and while you should not dwell in it, visiting your past every now and then can be a wonderful experience. I'm glad I did this just now, because I got to read all these older poems from both of us. It is now a few days after one of the most crucial points in our relationship, for Laura and I have met and spent a few days together. I'll write more on this later.
