Screams

She screams,
And the screams are silent,
Heard only by an emptiness
Searing in its violence.

She searches
For the one wholl save her soul,
Yet the nightmare carries on,
Leaving her heart a bitter cold.

She had always been a child
Until this day.
She never dreamed it could
All be washed away.
Shes held down by a strength
She cant control.
She never dreamed one moment
Would take away her soul.

She waits,
But the pain is eternally hers.
Nothing to assuage the torment
Or wipe away the scars.

She cries,
Her weakness shown through tears.
The agony now her only master
As it has answered all her fears.

She had always been a child
Until this day.
She never dreamed it could
All be washed away.
Shes held down by a strength
She cant control.
She never dreamed one moment
Would take away her soul.

She yearns
For a piece of yesterday,
And though it cannot be reality,
All thats left is to pray.

She dreams
Of the world she left behind.
Her fear and anger nothing now
In her empty violated mind.

She had always been a child
Until this day.
She never dreamed it could
All be washed away.
Shes held down by a strength
She cant control.
She never dreamed one moment
Would take away her soul.

She smiles,
Though everything is broken.
Her life a wasted place
With nothing gentle spoken.

She sleeps,
Letting childhood return.
Not a thing is left for worry
As she returns from being born.

She had always been a child
Until this day.
She never dreamed it could
All be washed away.
Shes held down by a strength
She cant control.
She never dreamed one moment
Would take away her soul.
