Pleasure
At last, at last
My world is shrouded in darkness
Such a glorious release
From the troubles of the world
The pressure, the pain
And now a blinding pleasure
How ironic are the opposites
Extreme like the ends of the earth
The rage like a polar wind
Empty now
Except the rising tide
And all I have is you
But then it crashes down
The world spins all around me
Such a rush as I can feel again
And then upon my tongue
Your flesh and sweat
Your blood, like wine
My nose now awake
And such a lovely scent you make
Sounds thunder around my ears
Yet they are just whispers of love
At last my eyes are born again
And all I see is you
My mind comes to me next
All is as it should be
Last returns my heart
But it was never gone
A place for you it has always kept
And always and forever shall
