The World of Meerja-Repharr

Meerja-Repharr is a world very similar to ours. It is approximately the same size, has the same climates and landforms, and similar flora and fauna. Two moons revolve around the planet, one almost twice the size of the other. The larger moon rizes into the sky at dusk, followed by the smaller two hours later.

I currently know very little about the continents, countries, cities, etc. of this world, for I have not created them yet. Therefore, everyone will start at the Inn of the Fallen Star in the small city of Waybrooke, located in the southeast of the country Jaynia. Just to the east lies the Jenian River, which flows from north to south and empties into the ocean south of Jaynia. To the southeast of Jaynia is the Deltrina Forest, home to the Deltrina Elves, and further southeast lies the country of Sola. Sola is home to many tribes of plainsfolk, one of which, the Seahr'Ahn, worships the sun god, Seagahn.

The Inn of the Fallen Star is so named because two generations past, it burned to the ground when a star fell on it, or, more accurately, through it. It was rebuilt, and is currently run by a man by the name of Maysin. Among his employees are Raim, a stableboy, and Kitty Dansler, a barmaid and prostitute.

Money

The monetary unit in all of Meerja-Repharr is the Kappla. Kappla come in coin form only (there are no notes). Coins vary in size and material. Lesser valued coins will be a single material, usually copper or nickel, and are smaller in size. As coins get more valuable, the metal changes to silver and gold. The most valuable coins have rings of different metals, and they usually have various-shaped holes punched in the middle.

A note on grammar: the word "Kappla" can be capitalized or not, either way is correct. The plural form of the word is the same as the singular, similar to the way "moose" is the plural of "moose."
