Her soul was soon accosted
By the pressures suffered to be.
She didn't know of happiness
Or the pleasures she was meant to see.
She feared and loved a silver steel
That bled her crimson flow,
The maniacal urge to rend her threads
Was not just hers to know.
She was heaven's angel lost
And her soul felt so alone,
But another so like her existed.
Her light, through his dakrness, shone.
Their love was undeniable
On that day at last they met.
They knew their paths lay with each other,
And for once, their lives were set.
They held each other and felt their love
As, like a mighty tree, it grew,
Forever reaching onward in the night
While the crows sang, "I love you."
Sixteen years ago this day
Was born upon this place
A child of lonely heaven,
An angel of purest grace.
The most beautiful of all God's angels,
Perhaps the last of them on Earth,
Was sent to save another's day,
For her soul joined his at birth.
An eternity lies before them,
The one thing that they know is love.
They raise their arms with lips embraced
And thank the spirits above.
