Last Testament
The sunlight blazes through me,
As if I stood beyond its reach,
And my shadow calmly left me;
My remnants a hollow shell.
My tears fall unhindered,
Yet unnoticed by the world.
I desired only to survive,
And I've been denied even that.
A deepening cold consumes my soul;
Black resides in my heart;
My mind is flayed by life.
Ahead I see only lies,
As I found so often in the past.
I know there is nothing left for me,
So please don't say a word.
Your cries will never stop me
And your anger makes things worse.
Loving was not the answer,
And hatred left me nowhere.
Yes, the riddle is still unsolved,
So I leave it to all the others.
I depart from you with one request:
Never mourn for me.
I don't need your fucking pity!
