Her life, once full, means nothing now
To those who stay, rend, tear, and plow
So many questions, they never asked how
The sun beats down a blazing path
As if such darkness could be cleaved in half
But the world's already suffered their wrath
A hollow wind tries to keep pace
Blowing through this hollow place
One denied a touch of loving grace
Across the shattered plains is stored
The remnants of this places last great war
The boiling blood of innocents, such gore
Unshamed, the demons walk the land
Conquering hope with an evil hand
Destroying all, as they have planned
The bitter end must come for all
Each being must answer Death's sweet call
Every living thing will sometime fall
So lightning crashes, the world is dead
As all tired things seek their beds
This once green land is turned to red
She stood against them all and fell
As if she never heard the tolling bell
And now this place has become a hell
The demons of this place, filled with mirth
They've killed her since her day of birth
Oh yes, they named this planet, "Earth"
