A Todos

Last night
I watched the sun rape the ocean,
Spilling her blood across the sky,
And making horrors
From what was always beautiful.
So remind me why I bother
With this living hell;
My nightmares merely intensify
When I wake from restless sleep.
Tis true,
I never dared to dream;
I knew the outcome of such foolishness,
Yet I spent my wasted life
Just one step back,
Forever striving to catch up,
Constantly trying like hell to make
Of myself something more
Than the nothing as you saw me,
As the world will eternally see me.
My life
Will never mean a thing to me,
And is less to you.
I envision a world without me,
And it takes little effort,
For that world is no different than this.
You drove me here,
You placed the steel in my hand,
But I forgave you long ago;
To err is human.
What then am I?
Death
Is just what my body needs,
Yet I cling to immortality
Like a leech,
Like you, sucking the life
From my soul;
You made me what I am.
You think your words will soothe,
Yet they kindle the fires within.
Anger
Fuels the hatred inside,
And the hatred becomes my master.
So do not forget to blame yourself
When your blood is loosed,
And remember to pray to your God,
Beg your illusion to save you.
But consider the simple fact
That He allowed the sun to rape His ocean.
Does it make much difference
To Him or to anyone
When my blade fucks your throat?
