| Jason Nemo. AKA: Homeless Man. Jason was a boy who never held material possesions to high reguard, and saw life in another light. His parents accepted this contrast, and kicked him out of the family and more importantly their house. Jason became homeless and adpated unusually quick to the street life. One day he aided a man who was fleeing from the IRS. The man was elderly, but fit for a man of his age. The man brought Jason aside and told him "I've taken the burden long enough, its time to pass the legacy on." The man gave Jason his trenchcoat, a sock filled with some heavy objects, and a large book. The elderly man then took a last ditch fight against the IRS. Jason then, trenchcoat on, took off. A man from the IRS, a leader of some sort, gave chase to him and grabbed at his book. The man got all but one of the pages, and Jason managed to escape. |
| Jason took a breather hours later, and discovered what the man had bestowed upon him: an enchanted overcoat. The coat had many magical powers, but unfortunately he only had one page from the instruction booklet for it. The page described three abilities in all on both sides. The first was the ability to summon the spirits of dead presidents by presenting the currency of which they are printed on. There is one limit to this power: he can only summon a spirit for the amount of time that coincides with its value (IE: Mr. Lincoln can appear for five minutes). The second ability he had was that to say the word "Change" and have a crosshair appear from the overcoat, thus giving him the ability to throw change with deadly accuracy. The last of these three abilities was the ownership of the magical shopping cart, which awaited him at a location only he could find. These abilities gave him quite an edge when combined with his already high street smarts. The sock contained many marbles, which made it deliver a deadly smash when the sock was spun on an axis. He soon began to realize what he had recieved. Not just some sock, not just a jacket, but a legacy. He began to recall the events from earlier, and remembered what the elderly man had told him: "The shopping cart is in Chinatown." Jason found the cart, and realized its enchanted ability: it had infinite volume and had everything and anything in it, the trick was finding it. Jason now realized his calling. He was the defender of free men, the supporter of the down-trotten, and assailant of the IRS. He was Homeless Man. Homeless Man fought crime on his own, freelance style. He realized taking down the IRS would take more than one suped up vagrant. He searched for a group to call his own, and enlisted help with The Ultra Acquaintances. Sometimes he will go off on his own and stop crime on his own time, but will always stand alongside the others to stop the hurt down on the homeless. He is one of the group's smartest and wisest members. |
