The Fake Cut
This fake cut keeps all the same cards in order.  First cut the deck, but keep the 2 halfs slightly angled from each other (figure 1).  Next slide the top half over the bottom half (figure 2).  When the cards get about half way across, wrap the top half around the bottom half (figure 3).  When the halfs are perpundicular, wrap the top half the other way while bringing it further down (figure 4).  Square the cards.  Now you have just reversed the cut (figure 5).

Here are some tips about doing this sleight.

1.  Practise in front of a mirror.
2.  While you are watching TV or doing something else, do the fake cut over and over again until you can do it with out looking at it or even thinking about it.
3.  There is a good downloadable video done by Brad Christian that shows this trick.  Go to
www.ellusionist.com and click on Ninja.  Then click on the download button under Las Vegas Card Cheat
4.  This sleight is perfect for other tricks as well.  Add it in before you start the trick, so it looks like you shuffle the cards.  (don't do this cut too many times in a row, because the spectator will start to look for something suspisious).
5.  It is helpful to wait a couple seconds between when you cut the deck and when you reverse it, because the spectator thinks that you have already cut the deck, so they are misdirected.
6.
Do Not Hesitate When Doing This, Or Think That They Can See You Do It!
