2003 AMHA National Championships

SG Step N Blue is 2003 National Champion Youth Jumper, National Top Ten Youth Showmanship, National Top Ten Amateur Jumper, and National Top Ten Open Jumper. Lutes Jack in the Box is 2003 National Top Ten Youth Country Pleasure Driving, AOTE Country Pleasure Driving, and Amateur Country Pleasure Driving.


2003 Rocky Mountain Classic, Estes Park, CO

What a fun show! SG Step N Blue was High Point Youth Horse and Lutes Jack in the Box was High Point Driving Horse and Grand Champion Country Pleasure Driving horse.


2003 Spring Fiesta

Huge classes at this show... driving classes had 20-30 entries. Lutes Jack in the Box won several HUGE driving classes. Lots of blue ribbons for SG Step N Blue, too, and Reserve High Point Youth 13-17.


2003 Touch of Class, Scottsdale, AZ

What a great start to the 2003 show season. SG Step N Blue was undefeated in all his jumping classes... open, youth, and amateur! He was also named High Point Youth with Jennifer Anttonen and High Point Amateur with Tammy Anttonen.


2002 AMHA Nationals

Our third AMHA National Show, our third AMHA National trophy and neck sash! SG Step N Blue was named Reserve National Champion in a huge class of Open Hunters. He also took home National Top Ten honors (third place) in Open Jumper. Thank you, Nikki Vaughn, for showing him for us, and congratulations!


2002 Rocky Mountain Classic

Our best Rocky Mountain Classic yet... SG Step N Blue took home trophies for High Point Youth Horse, High Point Amateur Horse, AND High Point Open Horse! Lutes Jack in the Box was named Reserve Grand Champion Pleasure Driving Horse, too.


2002 Touch of Class, Scottsdale, AZ

SG Step N Blue and Jennifer Anttonen were High Point Youth for the second year in a row.


2001 AMHA Nationals

The Evening Star's second Nationals was a success. SG Step N Blue finished his rookie year with a bang, being named 2001 AMHA National Champion in Youth Jumper 13-17 with Jennifer Anttonen. The pair was also National Top Ten in Youth and Open Hunter and Open Jumper. For photos, please see our 2001 Nationals page.

Estes Park, Colorado - July, 2001

The last AMHA show of the year for the Evening Star was a blast!SG Step N Blue did it again, winning 40 blues. He was chosen as Grand Champion Driving Horse, defeating past National Champions. He was also named High Point Youth Horse AND High Point Open Horse.


Spring Fiesta - May, 2001
The Evening Star had a great time at the Spring Fiesta!SG Step N Blue had a great show, taking home almost 75 AMHA points in classes ranging in size from 6 to 30.


Arizona Touch of Class - March, 2001

The Arizona Touch of Class found The Evening Star entering the 2001 season with a bang! SG Step N Blue enjoyed his first show as an all around youth horse, winning 12 blues and OVERALL HIGH POINT YOUTH HORSE with Jennifer Anttonen.
