Identification of genuine Coopers
Many fake Coopers have been built over the years - we are still finding them! We have assisted in several court cases when people have found their "genuine" Cooper is no more than a standard Mini with some Cooper parts.
Motorsport New Zealand affiliated
MSNZ is the NZ motorsport governing body affliated to FIA.
Classic racing
We get invited to most major classic racing events in NZ.
Car shows
We are always showing off, trying to educate the masses what a real Cooper is.
Economy trial
Our annual event where we invite other single marque car clubs to run over a prescribed course. We have a weight adjusted class to give non-Minis a chance. Also a prize for the most fuel used.
Motorkhanas
Chuck your car around some markers as quick as you can. We try to run to MSNZ rules so members are familiar with them when they compete at national levels.
Hillclimbs
Sprint up a road winding up a hill at the invite of other larger clubs.
Concours D’Elegance
Check the condition of your car against others in the club, and at major events against other marques.
Monthly club meetings
All are welcome to our Club and Committee meetings at 7:30pm on the 1st Tuesday of the month except January. Venue is Ecurie Lievre, 2-4 Eden St, Newmarket, Auckland, NZ.
