| Ok, so
I'll admit I'm not one of the best painters out there, but I think I do an OK job.
So this page will be dedicated to my hobby, miniature painting. Here I'll give out
any advice that I think would help the average joe like me getting started in the hobby. A little about myself first. My name is Randy, I was born in Orange California, and raised mostly in Arizona. I was introduced into painting models when I was 17 by my uncle Rod. And being in Arizona with little to do I tinkered around with painting. By the time I was 20 I moved back to California, and didn't paint anything at all really. But I played computer games like, WarCraft, Command and Conquer and so on. Then I met my wife playing Ultima Online. I moved up here to Oregon, where I am now. With my fever to get back into playing Wargames on the computer at the same time I was eager to make new friends up here. I read a little about playing Warhammer, and Warhammer 40k, and found my new hobby whist making new friends. My hunger to play wargames and getting back into painting models and making new friends was finally filled. I found a little store right down the street called Battle Ground games. There I met Bob, Jared, and a few other cohorts of theirs who played games such as Bloodbowl, and Necromunda. At the time, Warhammer 40k 3rd edition was about to hit the shelves. In no time I bought the box set and delve in. NEWS~ Sunday, November 19th, 2000 Still haven't come up with a color scheme for my nilla marines just yet. I'm thinking about Ultramarines just to save myself from going insane. I'd like to try something soon, something that would look good on both infantry and vehicles. This has been my delima since the 3rd edition came out. Pretty weird huh?! Hehe. I'll be sure to post whatever I come up with here in my gallery. I have a 5 day vacation coming up from work, and I'm going to be sure I'm painting at the time. Other then this and that, have I mentioned that PBS (TV Station) runs a really good comedy around 11pm pst on Sunday nights? I'm sure some of you have heard about it. Red Dwarf, its really a good program, and once you get passed the british accent of Lister and Rimmer, its a riot.
