"Oramor"  Blaze of Glory arrived quite unexpectedly 21st August, 2008--our very first foal and a proud first for our little stallion, "Red Phantom" at just 2.5 yrs old and our mare, Coco of 3 yrs.
Merv woke me, quite over the moon  to come and see our new addition--no, not Dolly's foal, but Coco who we thought would deliver late September--we are still waiting on Dolly's foal.
Merv named our foal Blaze,  for obvious reasons--he has a baldy face like his Sire,  he has also inherited Phantoms lovely eyes--brown encircled with a beautiful blue ring around the pupil,  but just the one coloured eye , the other eye is brown like his Dam, Coco. 
He is 25" in height, and a lovely 'Bay' with black tail and mane--he is very handsome and quite the Mr. Personality and loves to race around the paddock seemingly on tippy toes. Blaze has become very affectionate and loves to be petted and 'wags' his little tail in delight.
Thank goodness Merv is making me another sulky, now we have our future harness horse.
I think it's about time Merv learned to drive in harness, don't you?
