*Who Will Love My Children?*
~back to filmography~
*1983*
Ok I'm gonna completely do this one myself!

OMG (and I can't over state that enough) OMG I've been sitting here for the past two hours sobbing my guts out! she's just breathtaking, and amazing, and astounding in this one!! It's a true story about a young mother, Lucile Fray, who on the birth of her 10th child learns she has breast cancer and must find homes for all 10 children before she dies. The family is poor and her husband is a drunk who suffers from severe arthritis and cannot care for the children alone.  The fact that this was a true story touches me so deeply because of the bravery of this woman to place these kids herself in homes. There are three main scenes that always tear me up. One was when she gave her 2 year old baby away to another couple and had to hide the pain she was feeling from the other children. Also the scene near the end where after she has given away all the children she starts to have hallucinations and sees all of the children at her bedroom window on a foggy morning and has a complete breakdown then visits the children one last time. And of course, the funeral scene. OMG I swear I ALWAYS ball like a baby, It's sobb fest 2003!! And after watching this if it's at all possible I now just LUV LUV LUV LUV Ann-Margret even more than before!!!! times a million!!! It's just a brilliant movie (way to go director John Erman!!!) and yet another time when she was completely (and I will NEVER forgive them for this one) denied the Emmy. This is just a beautiful, life changing movie that REALLY makes you think, and appreciate new things. Saddest movie EVER!!! and my new FAVVVVVVV!!!

*I couldn't find many pics from this film and that's a real shame because though she didn't have beautiful clothes, hair, and makeup, she radiates such inner beauty that it completely takes your breath away!*
