SETI@Home satand for: The Search of Extraterrestrial at(@) Home. That means that you can search Etraterrestrial in your own home by downloading the SETI@Home program. How the SETI@Home works?? The SETI@Home client downloads a 'task' or a package from SETI, the package is full of static and your computer searchs for special frequencies that aliens or U.F.O. might use to communicate. Once your computer finished analyzing or searching it uploads all the information that the computer found in the package to SETI, then it downloads a new package. How do I know if I found an U.F.O. ?? After you upload the information of the package, SETI checks your information and they look if your computer found that 'frequencies' in the package (or Workunit). I fthey found a special 'frequencies' they'll have to chech wether the frequencie were made on EARTH or OUTER SPACE (Note: TV signal, Satellites, Air planes...ect. cause these kind of signals) |
