How To Make The Kite

What you need: A piece of tissue paper, cocktail sticks, polyester thread and glue.

Cut a diamond shape out of the tissue paper. Cut three pieces from the cocktail sticks: one long enough to reach from one corner of the diamond to the opposite corner, and two that are half this length. Glue the sticks on the tissue paper to make a cross.

Cut a length of thread to make a tail for the kite. Make bows for the tail by cutting small rectangles of tissue paper and tying the thread round them to pinch them into bows.

Glue the tail onto the end of the kite. Glue another length of thread onto the other end and then wind it round a small piece of cocktail stick.
