How To Make The
Jam Jar
What you need: A tube-shaped wooden bead (a rounded one with two flat ends), a bit of fabric, needle and embroidery thread, paint, glue, a sticker or a small piece of paper, and a fine pen.
Paint the bead the colour you want the jam to be. Cut a circle out of the fabric that is a bit larger than the flat end of the bead. Treat the edges of the fabric with diluted glue to prevent fraying. Using one strand of embroidery thread, stitch round the edges of the circle. The stitches should make a circle that is larger than the flat end of the bead.

Using a very small amount of glue, attach the fabric circle on top of the painted bead.

Tighten the thread and tie it into a bow. Dab a small amount of glue in the centre of the bow to make sure it stays in shape.

Write a label for the jar, either on a sticker or on a piece of paper and glue it on the jar.
