How To Make Flowers

What you need: Coloured tissue paper, a sharp pair of scissors, thin metal wire, green embroidery thread and glue.

Fold up the tissue paper so you can cut several layers at once. Cut out flower shapes (below are two suggestions). Punch a hole through the centre of the paper flowers.

Twist a length of metal wire into a loop and put the ends of the wire through the hole.

Wrap green embroidery thread round the metal wire to make the stem. Crush a small piece of tissue paper and glue into the centre of the flower, covering up the loop of metal wire. Shape the flower by twisting the petals. Cut leaves out of green tissue paper and glue onto the stem.

The flowers can be placed in flower pots, which you can either buy at crafts stores or make from clay. You can also put them straight into the bear's garden plot.
