How To Make The Clock

What you need: An old watch, two matchboxes, cardboard, a piece of chain, two large oval beads, sellotape, glue, paint and a double-sided sticker.

Take the covers off the matchboxes and cut the boxes into a point at the top. Cut a hole in one of them, just large enough to fit the face of the watch in. Paint the matchboxes.

Make two small holes at the bottom of the matchbox with the hole in it, and put the chain in through one hole and out through the other.

Remove the strap from the watch and sellotape it inside the matchbox so the face of the clock shows through the hole. Place the other matchbox inside this one so that the sellotape is hidden inside the boxes; glue the two halves of the clock together.

Cut a piece of cardboard, fold it in half and glue on top of the clock. Paint it if you want.

Glue the beads onto the ends of the chain. Attach the clock to the wall with the sticker.
