How To Make The Armchair

What you need: Some foam plastic, fabric, needle and polyester sewing thread, small piece of Aida, some embroidery threads and cotton wool.

The sizes of the pieces are determined by the size of your teddy bear. Cut the pieces out of the foam: the base, the back and two arms. Make sure these fit together and are the right size for your bear.

Cover the foam pieces with fabric and stitch together firmly.

Make a cross-stitch cushion to put in the chair. Cut a square out of the piece of Aida and stitch a pattern on it (below is a suggestion).

Cut a square of the same size out of the fabric and place it on the Aida, right sides together. Stitch around three of the sides, turn right side out, stuff with cotton wool and stitch up the fourth side.
