How To Make The Cart

What you need: A matchbox, two cocktail sticks, some cardboard, four small beads, thin string or strong sewing thread, paint and glue.

Take away the lid of the matchbox and make four holes on the sides of the box, near the bottom of the box, and close to the front and back. These are shown in red in the picture.

Paint the matchbox. If you want, you could draw pictures on the outside. Let the paint dry. Then put the cocktail sticks (cut them shorter first if they are too long) through the holes in the box to make the axis for the wheels. Cut four cardboard circles to make the wheels. Paint them if you want. Put them onto the the cocktail sticks on the outside of the matchbox, and glue a bead onto the end of each stick to make sure the wheels don't slip off.

Glue a short length of string onto one end of the cart. Attach the string to a small piece of cardboard, so the cart can be pulled along with the string.
