What you need: Strong cardboard or very thin wood, coarse furry fabric, clay, paint and glue.

Cut a handle for the brush out of the cardboard or wood. Paint it if you want, and let the paint dry.

Cut an oval shape out of the fabric. If the hairs are too smooth for a brush, treat them with diluted glue to make them rougher. Glue the piece of fabric onto the handle of the brush.

Roll a piece of clay into a ball and then press it flat to make a bar of soap. Bake it in the oven according to instructions on the packet and then paint.
