| A new group was formed in November 2004 for Italian speaking moms and children looking to have some fun and speak Italian. The group has been meeting every week, usually on Wednesday morning. Children's ages range from infant to about 5 years old. For the moms (most of them moved to USA only some years ago) it is a great way to speak Italian, share stories and the inevitable joys and frustrations of motherhood! For the children, it is a great way to have fun while making friends who can also speak Italian and share a common cultural background. In addition to the weekly play dates, the group also gets together on a monthly basis for a Moms' night out. These are a chance for the moms to meet without the kiddies. Other Italian ladies are also always welcome to these fun nights. A couple have already been held and been a huge success. Joining this group is easy.
