The Stories of This Week
Skippy arrives back on scene with a new children's television show called "Skippy the Explorer." The show is written, animated and voiced by Skippy, giving her complete control over the project. She stated, "I noticed Special's show was doing well and I thought I should get a piece of the glory in kids tv." In the show, Skippy explores Canada with her moose friend, named Galoshes, her purse, named Purse, and her handy chart, named Chart. Sometimes she also meets other creatures that try to send her in the wrong direction, such as the Canadian goose named Snatcher. Skippy's show teaches French as well as being fun for the whole family. Although some critics have compared it to Dora the Explorer, Skippy has resisted, saying, "This is a totally original show and I don't think Dora is a real person, do you? This is based very strongly on my own life experiences." This show sounds like it will be a great new program for all children.

Nimisha and Brad meet their fans
Nimisha hits the Red Carpet
Brad Pitt and Nimisha "Sexy Sumo" Sumathi have hit the red carpet to promote Nimisha's new film, "The Nightmare before Corpse Bride." Nimisha thought up the idea as a cross between documentary and animation, she calls it the "Animentary." She enlisted her friends Johnny Depp, Antonio Banderas, Brad Pitt and Reese Witherspoon, to name a few, to be the voices of her characters. "The Nightmare before Corpse Bride" is co-directed by Tim Burton and the songs were written and performed by the cast members. "Some of the songs are a bit confusing considering I didn't tell the cast where I was going to put them in the film," explained Nimisha. The movie is bound to be a big success with such big name celebrities on board and is due out on October 21st.

Fro'N'Stampy-O Homes & Hideaways
Earlier this week, Special kindly invited us to dine at her new home in Burbank, California. The palatial estate has nine bedrooms and 11 baths. The building was a seniors home before she paid the 1.9 million for the property and an additional $797,000 in renovations. "I really had to get rid of that old person smell," Special told us.
The spacious yard is still waiting for the final touches. "I'm waiting for the asphalt guys to come on Monday, then the go kart track will be complete." When asked about the many seniors still wandering her property, Special replied, "I felt bad about just kicking them out, so occassionally, I let them have lunch on the front lawn."
