After that experience I talked my friend into going where Simon lived. I wanted to see what his town looked like. It was so much fun being on the train ride knowing I was going where Simon Gallup lived!Once we arrived there we were walking down one of the streets and this guy passed us walking very quickly and kind of hunched over. My friend nudged me and said "I bet you think he is cute." He looked like my type. Well he had gone into a liquor store, so I peeked in the window to get a better look at him, and guess who it was! Simon himself!! So I got very nervous and didn't know what to do, I so badly wanted to talk to him. So when he came out we spoke to him and told him how we had come from American in hopes of seeing them. He seemed very flattered. He started talking about his son, and for the life of me I can't really remember what else, I was so nervous! He told my friend and myself they were getting ready to start recording for the album Wish and told us where they would be at and that it would be ok for us to come if we wished :) So you guessed it! We were off ! |
