GAUGE: Each Square = 12"
SQUARE A (Make 10)
With one strand MC and one strand CC held together, ch 5; join with slip st to form a ring.
Rnd 1 (Right side): Ch 6 (counts as first dc plus ch 3, now and throughout), (3 dc in ring, ch 3) 3 times, 2 dc in ring; join with slip st to first dc: 12 dc and 4 ch-3 sps.
Note: Loop a short piece of yarn around any stitch to mark last round as right side.
Rnds 2-5: Slip st in first corner ch-3 sp, ch 6, 2 dc in same sp, dc in each dc across to next corner ch-3 sp, * (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in corner ch-3 sp, dc in each dc across to next corner ch-3 sp; repeat from * 2 times mote, dc in same sp as first dc; join with slip st to first dc: 76 dc. Finish off.
SQUARE B (Make 6)
With 2 strands MC held together, ch 5; join with slip st to form a ring. Complete same as Square A.
SQUARE C (Make 4)
With 2 strands CC held together, ch 5; join withslip st to form a ring. Complete same as Square A.
ASSEMBLY
With one strand of MC and one strand of CC held together and using Placement Diagram as a guide, whipstitch Squares together forming 4 vertical strips of 5 Squares each (Fig. 7)-, then whipstitch strips together in same manner.
Join as follows:
Place two Squares with wrong sides together. Beginning in center of corner chs, sew through both pieces once to secure the beginning of the seam, leaving an ample yarn end to weave in later. Working through inside loop of each stitch of both pieces, insert the needle from front to back through first stitch and pull yarn through (Fig. 7), * insert the needle from front to back through next stitch and pull yarn through; repeat from * across to center ch of the next corner

Rnd 1: With right side facing, using one strand MC and one strand CC held together, join yarn with sc in any corner ch-3 sp sc across to next corner ch-3 sp, * 3 sc in corner ch-3 sp, sc in next 19 dc, across to next corner ch-3 sp; repeat from * 2 times more; join with slip st to first sc.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, working from left to right, work sc in each sc around join with slip st to first st, finish off
