| So the words are out. After 4-month-long searching and fighting, I found myself another position with PG. F. I am going to move to PS campus, and withdraw from the rest of applications. The search is ended for now until next time. I know, some of them couldn't believe, but indeed I have made my mark and make it to the star group. With lots of works, helps from career coach and mentors, encouragement from good friends and sheer good fortune. Most of all, my dear husband's support. Without him, I won't make it this far. As usual, I have no much clue what I will be working on. I know I will be so busy on catching up and ignore the rest of office politics and the power struggle under the table. Again, it's like a new beginning, a new adventure. Getting an offer is like you have gained confidence from someone, they have so much confidence in you to entrust you with a position that matters to them. Especially when you get an offer from a total stranger. Of course, I will become a slave to be worked to death. They have told me, but there is also an opportunity you don't easily gain - to work with a group of reasonable and smart people, to learn something new. Consider the fact I am already out of school. Well, I also won't forget the face of B.K. He should see this coming and I am the strong one that's able to move out. So now, you all know why I haven't been writing for a while. I probably will write less after transition is done. But, I will still write. |
