| Driving to Dallas - July-05-02 I lived in Dallas for about 6 months before I moved to Austin. It is a young city, full of energy, unlike those old cities such as New York City, Boston, and Chicago etc. It's a city at its "teenage time". For Dallas, I always have this weird feeling - I can visit it from time to time, but I don't get to settle there. My dear friend, Christine and her husband live happily in Dallas area and they are expecting their first born in Aug. 2002. I am happy to visit them and have a place to crash for the night. Get to talk to old friends, it's all good. So it doesn't matter if I get to settle in Dallas or not. I have been there, that's all it matters now for me. |
