My Links Page!

As the links section on my initial page has gotten too large, and more additions are in store, I've moved them to their own page, here. I'll be trying to make sure that all links are valid and active, but if you hit a dead link, please, please tell me. I'll fix it or delete it when that happens. Also, if you want me to post a link to your page, E-mail me!
Note also, please, that links about Marcus Aurelius do not appear in this section. Those are over on their own page.

White-Wolf Roleplaying Links!

Toreadors.Com Very nice for the gothic stuff, or if you're into White Wolf roleplaying.
troll's MasqNet. The material here's a bit sparse on the ground, but what's here is good, and some sections are verygood.
Hall of Sorrow's Vampire Disciplines. Just what it says. A near-totally complete listing of the canonical Disciplines in an easy-access format.
The Tremere Virtual Chantry Kind of a specialized page, but one that I read and contribute to pretty regularly. It's fun, if you play Tremere.
Lord Vetrik's Chantry Nice site with some on-going construction on the Rituals page. I'm a contributer! My first Thaumaturgic Ritual is now posted. I'm so proud. . .
Seven Deadly Sins: A guide to Tremere roleplaying. Now this is some good stuff.
Oakthorne's World of Darkness. This is good. And, Oakthorne, a.k.a Joseph Carriker, is a good writer and a bright guy. Check it out for general information or neat chronicle ideas.
The Scriptorium A great page of White-Wolf fiction, poetry, ect. set up by and including writings from Sarah Roark, who is really worth reading. Also, the place takes submissions, so if you want to put your work out there. . .

Mood Music. This page was put up by a guy named Ivo, containing a bunch of songs deemed appropriate by various persons for role-playing to. He's still collecting, so go on and give him your favorites too! (No, I'm not just saying this 'cause I'm credited on the page!)

Other Roleplaying Links

Redcap For Ars Magica. Huge, huge links page with a FAQ attached. Nice place to poke around in.
Durenmar. A sort of virtual Covenant House, including libraries and the legendary InstaGrog machine.
Portraits of the Founders. This one is just nifty. It's a carefully set out discussion of what period-styled representations might be used to depict each of the House Founders of Ars Magica. I think it's great, personally.

The Library of Evremere. This place looks good, andit accepts submissions of new spells and other neat things, so it's a good place to look for new or original material. Note: You do have to register yourself to contribute, but that shouldn't really be a hindrance. Also, it's hard to move around in. Expect to use your browser's 'back' button a lot.

The Sacred Texts Here's the directory address, as promised. This is a neat site for actual Hermeticism, rather than nescessarily the strictest ArM stuff. I could see some very interesting ideas coming out of here. Following a debate on the ArM list, I've collected most of the links to hermetic information pages and included them here.
What Is Hermeticism? Good general information, although obviously not strictly game-related. This is a site about both historical and modern (!) Hermetic thought.
Secretum Secretorum For those who don't speak Latin, like m'self, that's The Book of the Secret of Secrets. A very wide discussion on magic and magical systems in the Greco-Roman world. With the Chaldaean Oracles!

Miscellany

The Society for Creative Anacronism I'm not a member, but I'm thinking about it. Either way, it's more fun than history class.

You Know You're in the SCA When. . . Funny stories and sayings that help give a feel for the Modern Middle Ages, in addition to just being a good laugh.

The Costume Site. This is a sort of clearinghouse for online sources of readymade costumes, information on costumes, materials, books, and so forth.

Miskatonic University! Yaaaay! All hail Cthulu! H.P. Lovecraft lives! Seriously, though, you probably do want to check this one out. It's cool.

The Principia Discordia. Howling madness, in a pretty funny form.

Semiramis, Queen of Assyria. New (to me) historical information! The semi-mythical warrior-Queen of Babylon, Semiramis, who is apparently thought by some to be the archtype of the Goddess Ishtar/Ashtoreth/Astarte.

Queen of Babylon A second page on the same topic, with a slightly different slant.

Elizabethan Blackwork. Nice place with a lot of good patterns for embroidery.

Free Pattern Links. Lots of easy-access embroidery patterns, for those of you who like such things.

Celtic Art. Really, really neat web-page with directions on draw-your-own knotwork.

The Philosopher's Stone Humor and philosophy together at last. Check it out.

Virtual Hug. This is slow to load, and may not load at all on old computers, but, if you can and you have the time (2-3 minutes max), go here and you'll feel better. I did. And thanks to Cheryll, who sent me the link.

Religious Links

Thesaurus Precum Latinarum A treasury of Catholic prayers in Latin and English, well organized and clearly stated. I think it's a pretty interesting resource.

Syriac Catholic Church Mostly history on this page.

The Philosopher's Stone Forum. This place is a BBS devoted to discussions about alternative religions by their practicioners.

aeclectic tarot. A rather odd website devoted to tarot card artwork, along with sources to buy many of the decks displayed. I have this sudden urge to fill a small room with framed tarot decks. . . .

Musical Links

World Serpent. This site has a huge listing of some truly unusual fringe musical groups, including a lotof people I've never heard of but now really want to hear.

Personality Tests

I have something of a fasination with ways of describing or identifying oneself, as you may have gathered from my collection of codes earlier. Down here, I've pulled together a few links to places containing quizzes.

World's Smallest Political Quiz. Just what it says. Find out which political party you have the most in common with in 3 minutes or less.

I.Q. Quizzes It's funny, but not real profound.

The Keirsey Temperament Sorter. Nice place, funny color scheme, good system. This one's actually useful sometimes.
