It is the intention of the Committee to have a monument built at what used to be the old McIntire Park in Schumacher. In addition to the monument we would like to include a garden area and a picnic area so that visitors would have a place to sit, relax and enjoy the surroundings available at this setting. Access to this site will be mainly during daylight hours. Cost of this project is estimated at slightly more than a $300,000 budget.
