We have included many family favorites in this book. It is our hope that these recipies will be enjoyed by you for many years.
These cook books contain almost 100 pages of delights and are a great way to taste the hearty foods that Northern Ontario miners have enjoyed for years. They are available at various locations throughout the Timmins area, or by mailing in $10 + $2.50 for shipping and handling.
Pictures on the cover and in the book are creations of Silvana Jasaitis. Silvana is a graduate in theatre and performance arts from York University. Currently Ms. Jasaitis continues her works in the field of conceptual design and is a member of the Porcupine Art Club. She also happens to be the daughter of a retired miner and resides in Timmins Ontario.
