She does this by using a special spell on the Witch's Sabbatical that allows her to possess the "Chosen One"
She gets the young girl hooked into Witchcraft then gives them a special Amulet. The Amulet looks like Satan Star. The five points end in red rubies. The young child is then instructed to place one of the endings to the chest of anyone she choses. The point then draws out some of the victim's life energy. With each point filled up, the young girl will get stronger in Magic power. Miranda does this so that when she possesses the girl, she will still be as powerful, maybe even more powerful.
