I woke up at about 6:30 and some stuff happened with my parents so I cried for a bit but then I felt better by the time I went to school. In econ I drew and German is always funny. I thought it was quite amusing that I was the top magazine seller-considering that that was entirely due to the fact that my mom bought them as christmas gifts for all of our relatives.

It was really funny because it is fourth year German and no one could say what their birthday was correctly. We learn so much.

In English Mrs. Vander Heide gave me an article for the poem I am reciting tomorrow. I am doing Dudley Randall's "Ballad of Birmingham." It is so tragically ironic. The poem is about the bombing of a church in Birmingham, Alabama. In ceramics Jenn and Theresa came with me to buy some more clay cause I used all of mine. For some reason speckled buff clay is much better for throwing than white speckled clay. Centering is hard because it takes a lot of strength which isn't something I have, but I'm getting better at it.

At lunch James told me that the reclaimed water they spray all over the place isn't vegan. He taught me how to make sushi a few days ago, I need to go buy some rice vinegar. Lunch was fun, but then art was bad. Mr. Gleason came up with another seating chart. He left me in the same seat but then he moved Charles to the way back of the room and moved Uzi. Max still sits next to me, and he moved Jose next to me. He must not know that Jose and I know each other from the mentorship, because he made a point of separating everyone that knew each other well.

He graded our paintings today-I was suprised because he gave me a C. I've never gotten a C in an art class on anything. His logic was that it was too imaginative and not realistic enough, and that it didn't have good value. I guess he doesn't like my style. So I have a low B. How did it happen that art is my worst class? I'm not upset, because I don't value his opinion highly, but I am just curious as to what his standard of judging art is.

After school I had a lot of fun. I went and made copies for my poetry presentation tomorrow, and talked to Aaron for awhile. He told me that his dad is the orchid pope. Clara managed to fit 6 people into her car because Nate went in the trunk. There is a hole that he stuck his hand out of and scared Marissa. She thought Shannon had grabbed her hair. We went to my house for about half and hour because I had to get this assignment for environmental bio.

I had to get a copy of an article on global warming from the magazine The New Republic. Since I can't drive Clara was very nice and took me downtown to go to the library. She went to her hair consultation with Buzz and I drove her car to the library and back. I felt bad because I hate taking things from other people, but she is so nice that she insisted. I came home and did some poetry analysis for English. I loved the poems we analysed, one of them was an called A Glass of Beer and was so funny that I laughed out loud.

There was another poem that described Christ climbing off of the cross like a bully to beat the speaker up, and that was quite amusing. I happened to turn on the tv and find that bravo was having a special on Billie Holiday and jazz. I love Billie Holiday, so it was perfect timing. Wow, Clara just sent me a very interesting picture of Trent Reznor. It is very revealing-in more ways than one. It's time for me to be off.
