Today was a good day. I made a perfect cylinder in ceramics (my first one!) and Theresa helped me get it off the wheel and cut it in half to show Mr. Garst. She was going to argue with him if he wouldn't give me credit for it. Mr. Garst asked if she is my attorney, but I told him that she is my personal assistant. It took me about 2 1/2 weeks to make my first cylinder. I was just about to give up, too. I can finally throw! I realised that my problem had been using wet clay, so of course it wouldn't work because the clay was too soft. I was trying to center all period, and getting no where. Today I used some dry clay and I centered and raised it in about 20 minutes. I was very happy.

Even more exciting is that today is Clara's birthday! 17! We were going to go to the mountains to look at stars but the weather didn't permit (it rained this morning). Instead after school we stopped by Kevin's and Shannon's and then came to my house. We made vegan pizza, spiked Buzz's hair, and made Clara into a sexy raver. I called Thal but he wasn't home. I miss him lots. I really need to get his cell phone number.

We took many pictures, which hopefully will get developed soon. I'm mad because something is wrong with the net and it won't connect. I'll have to upload this later. Yay, it's working now. Everything has been good today. I was quite tired after school but I took a little nap at Kevin's house and in Clara's car so I felt much better. I didn't get any sleep last night (bad nightmares kept me up). I was happy when it started raining this morning, rain always makes me feel perfectly at peace.

Michael called after school, he has to take the ACT on Saturday morning at 8:00 am. He wished Clara happy birthday. Now I must go read Crime and Punishment, happy birthday Clara one more time!
