Today was very interesting. In English we had a timed writing on Crime and Punishment which we couldn't use notes or the book for. I remembered a quote from page 173 about the square yard of space motif, so I put it in to try to be impressive but I don't know if it was very successful.
I read the weirdest article on the internet about Rhode Island trying to attract tourists by erecting giant statues of potato heads around the state. My favourite was Edgar Allen Poe-tato (that made me fall over laughing).

There was a controversy about whether or not they have racist innuendos.
Hilary called me twice today, I told her how my parents are going to see riverdance (they want me to go with them, scary!). She watched some show that was a beauty pagent for bachelors, and one of their talents was dancing with an audience member. I thought that was quite amusing. I overheard my mom telling my dad how shocked she was that someone came up to her and told her I was pretty. She said that they must have be thinking of another person because the Alana she knows isn't attractive. It's sad really that she devotes so much of her time to insulting me. She decided to make top ramen and put boiled tuna in it. It was a very odd culinary choice to say the least.
Hilary and Elise get to see each other tomorrow which is nice. Hilary is so funny because when she calls me from work she can't talk so I just babble to her forever about the dog and random stuff. Elise sent me a package that was so great-she gave me vegan candy, a candle, stickers, articles, and animal friendly bath products.
I found the coolest website today, blair magazine ,
it has articles by Thurston Moore and fashion tips from RuPaul. Now I must get off of the computer.
