Faith
What is faith? The dictionary decribes is as the beleif in God and the teachings of a religion. But it is so much more.
The believing in somthing we cannot Touch or physically feel but believe in with all our hearts.What is it that reaches into the deepest depths of our verry soul? It is illogical in the physical world but somthing we can hold dear above all that we can see or touch.
It is the invisable comfort that we find to carry us through our most painful tragic days and most horrible darkened roads. When all hope is lost, when we are alone it is the beacon of light left for us top cling to. Our umbrella to protect us from the temptest of life's tragedies.
Pain is too often the foundation for spiritual growth. Tragedy shakes our faith down to the very foundations. Faith is believing we havn't been left astray or forgotten. Believing that there is a reason for all things good and bad. Faith is believing that some day we will be given then answers to all that has passed. answers that are beyond our comprihention today.
Faith is the belief of a power greater then ourselves. Greater then life. A distinct entity seperate from the physical world, holder of the key to the world beyond. the creater of life and all the we know, see, touch, and smell. He or they gave us the great gift of life and the ability to love, and our pain an exspression of that love.
Faith, our tool of survival, our passport to etenrity.
