For I am here but a short while.

Our pets can bring us so much love, joy, and
Happiness to our lives.
Their friendly nature shows us how big their
Hearts really are, and how much love
They have in them. Their companionship is
One of the very best. They never talk back
Or call you names, and their secrets are never
Told. Their kisses return all the love
We give, and so much more.

Lady
Our precious Lady was brought into a
Loving home and was cherished
Everyday, until the day of her
Unfortunate passing,
We gave her a wonderful life.
She always had lots of excitement
And has seen many people. Many of
Them she has seen before.
She had a terrific personality, a great
Sense of humor, and a wonderful
Disposition.
She certainly knew how to make us
Happy, she did so many things to make
Us laugh.
She was always so gentle, never had a
Reason to hurt anyone or anything..
What a sweetheart she was, so
Thoughtful and caring.
She comforted us when we were sad and
Crying, or when we were fighting.
Her love was incredible! She had so
Much love to give and share with
Everyone.
Her heart was always in the right place.
She was always so happy and cheerful
It brightened our everyday.
Then, one day, something tragic
Happened. She escaped from the house
Without a leash. She ran out to the
Middle of the road and was struck by
A car.
The car tossed Lady into the ditch in
Front of our house. We were - and
Always will be - devastated by her
Sudden death. She was so dear to us.

I am a bird,
Free to go anywhere I please,
That has taken to flight.
Soaring high above the clouds at dusk,
Before me. Pastel colors
Trace the outlines of the clouds,
Showing every detail,
And quickly turning vivid
As the sun continues setting.
