Isolation
Trapped.
That's how I feel, being trapped in a tiny, black metal cage.

Afraid.
So afraid to move that I fear this rope suspending me will break if
I move - falling ... falling into a cold and endless black pit.

Secluded.
Not a sould around anywhere.  Shivering alone in this metal cage.

Cry.
I call out, crying - a plea for help, but no one hears me.
My voice only echoing in the silent darkness.

Tears.
My tears fall one by one - big, heavy drops - forcing the rope to slowly break more.
Soon, very soon, it will be me ...

Won't somebody save me?  Please?

My Perfect World
When I need a little time for myself, I escape to a world that I have created.

I sit on a rock that is as tall as I am and as wide as a small river.
My baby, Angel, lays next to me on the rock as I sit observing my world.
Here, time is no issue, time does not exist.
A cool breeze blows, and for a moment, I close my eyes
And take it all in with a smile.  Below is a trickling stream
With the purest, cleanest, clearest water.  Land stretches
As far as the eye can see, and not a house or building in sight.
In the distance and all around me, the trees reflect their natural beauty
In the stream.  Nature's colors are the brightest and most vivid
I have ever seen.  I reflect on life's realities as I listen to nature's sweet sounds,
With my baby by my side.  The wind blows and some birds fly in a dance
To the songs of the other birds.  Horses graze, deer drink from the stream,
Kittens romp and play, and raccoons hide in the bushes
As the suns rays hit their eyes just right, finding them.
Here, the wild animals are my best friends, the sun never sets,
  And the weather never changes.
A perfect world!

Peaceful Tranquility Thought
Have you ever really been able to relax and enjoy your time alone?
If your answer is "no", then here's a suggestion for you to try:
Put in a cassette or CD of relaxation (your choice) ...
  Get comfortable ...
Take in a deep breath ...
Exhale slowly, allowing your mind and body to relax and part from you ...
     Close your eyes ...
And let your imagination take you on a magical journey ...
Feel yourself sailing away gracefully
To a far-off place of picture perfect bliss.
   Feel yourself there ...
Feel the air around you and the ground beneath your feet ...
Smell the freshness and cleanliness of the water ...
Taste the natural elements of your surroundings ...
Hear the cries and wails of the animals around you ...
See the unforgettable beauty surrounding you,
Beckoning you to visit again ...
Enjoy this moment of peace for as long as you can.
When you're finished, slowly come back to reality ...
Take in a deep breath ...
Exhale slowly, allowing your mind and body to ground them again ...
Slowly get up and go about your business ...
There.  How do you feel now?
We can only tell of how we feel about what sends our hearts, minds,
And souls into a deep state of relaxation.  But in order to
REALLY
Know how it feels, we have to take ourselves there and experience it.
Enjoy!  I hope you find the time to do this.  Good luck to you.
