What Is this? How do I read it?
What's an Online RPG?
You may have played video game RPGs like Final Fantasy and Shining Force before. This is a totally different thing. A typical RPG involves a few rules. There are two or more 'players'. This particular RPG has only 2. Each person has a main character.
Digital_Replicant has Jimmy Urine.
Melancholy_Rose has Kevin Neil.
There are also sub characters, that are not used as much as the main characters. Kind of like co-stars. Many online RPGs involve dungons and dragons and taverns and so on. The players take turns in fighting and such. This RPG is more like a live sitcom. The rules are simply to write a realistic responce to the previous post. Hence, it's just a story done live via MSN messenger. Do you get it? It's not to hard to grasp.
Okay, but how do I read it?
Okay now, don't get you panties in a bunch when you see the format. You simply read it as you would a play or script. Here's an example-
Jimmy Urine: <glances over at kevin>
Kevin Neil: <looks back> Where the fuck do you get off pulling a stunt like that!?
Jimmy Urine: .o0(...quick, say something swift!) ...uh...
Daron: kevin, chill out and have a drink. he's just being himself...
Kevin Neil: <slams his hand down on the bar, sick of this shit> *thwap!*
Daron and Jimmy: <wince>
Key-
Yellow Name- Main Character. They include the 'last name'.
Green Name- Sub Character, Usually just the first name or occupation (ie- Nurse)
White Names- Two Characters do/say/think the same thing at once... duh!
< ... > - This is an action or an idea.
.o0(...hm...) - a thought bubble like in comics. Other chatacters can not hear this.
*slap!*- These little stars indicate a sound effect. Sometimes the arrow brackets are used for this as well.

~ If there is no name before an action, this means it was annonymous like a phone ringing or something happens not involving a spacific character. The actuall RPG is not color coded. I just did this to show you how to read it correctly...

THAT WASN'T SO HARD NOW WAS IT!?
The Birth of Penis... or Urine I should say.
