Apapsyche
CONCEPT: [OPERATIONAL ENERGY OF THE SOUL]
Let us define "Apapsyche" and explain the reason we need this new term.
The prefix "Apas" is from Sanskrit, and it means "work/working". The term "psyche" is from the Greek, and it refers to "self, soul, and mind". We take the "Soul" meaning of "psyche" and add "Apa" to it, and we get "Apapsyche". And this new term refers to the Operational Energy of the Soul.
But why does the Soul need an Operational Energy? This is a bit more difficult to answer in just a couple sentences... but let me try. I believe the Energy of the Soul is Neutral Spiritual Energy, or NSgy. If one accepts the concept that the Soul is an aspect of God, this would suggest that the Energy of God is also NSgy. Neutral Spiritual Energy is the only energy I have found in a thirty year search that supports the concept of "Absolute".
Imagine an Absolute as being that which is permanent, cannot change, and cannot be other than it is, ever. NSgy meets these criteria, and thus, NSgy is the Energy of Truth, and Spirituality. The Core of the Whole Human Being is NSgy, or a Spiritual Core that contains ones Soul, Truth, and it is of an Absolute nature. On the physical plane we have nothing that provides us an experience of Absolute Energy. We have nothing by which to measure or even imagine the concept of Absolute Reality.
The next inner plane of reality beyond the physical plane is the MIND realm. The MIND is very subtle, and certainly non-physical, and it is composed of a duality of Yang and Yin energies. Yang being the "male" outgoing nature, and Yin being the "female" ingoing nature.
The MIND realm is a mystical phenomenon in that it actually is composed of both the Astral region of Creation [the lower MIND] and the Causal region of Creation [the higher MIND]. This is like asking what you call the outside of the inside of your pants pocket? No one has ever named this, and the MIND cannot be known by ones brain because ones brain cannot perceive the energy of ones MIND. What can perceive the subtle energy of the MIND? Ones Apapsyche is what allows ones MIND to interact with ones Whole.
Maybe, just maybe the ancient Greeks intended the term "consciousness" to refer to some or all of what this page will introduce... but I suspect it is more likely that the ancient Greeks intended the term consciousness to refer to a part of what we will describe in this page. So, let us use "Apapsyche" to refer to this surprising new dimension of the Whole Human Being.
Let us define Apapsyche. From Sanskrit, "apas" (work or working), and from the Greek, "psyche" (self, soul, mind). By combining the "Soul" aspect of psyche, and the Apa part of Apas, we create the new term "Apapsyche", and it is defined as: The "Operational Energy of the Soul".
The reason ones Soul would "need" an Operational Energy?
Your Soul is composed of Neutral Spiritual Energy, or NSgy [this is a theoretical concept of mine] but it "fits" what I needed a few years ago to complete my understanding of who and what the Whole Human Being is, and how each of us works at all three levels that comprise the WHB.
To return to the reason the Soul "needs" an Apapsyche... have you ever wondered what the Soul is? Or if the Soul is an "aspect" of God, what Energy is God? Well, I wondered about these questions and lack of an answer was part of my block in comprehending how the whole human being works? By works, I am referring to how we operate at the physical level, the psychological level, and at the Spiritual level. The Whole Human Being, in other words.
I was working late one evening pushing a pencil around a page when I suddenly intuited the concept of Neutral Spiritual Energy. I had no idea what this meant at the time, but I knew that it was somehow important. Some time later I was working on trying to figure out how the MIND could be associated with the Soul, and yet separate from it at the same time? We are talking about two totally separate realms of reality... that are fully separated from each other by the vibrational energy of each. Suddenly my intuition reminded me of the term "Shabd". Shabd is the Hindi term that means essentially the same as that of "Word" as used in the Bible. Shabd, or Word is the projected Energy of God that became the entire Creation by degrees as it was "stepped-down" into various vibrational realms of reality. Somehow my intuition made a connection between Shabd and Neutral Spiritual Energy. While remaining in my intuition, the concept of how the Soul and MIND could relate to one another while each remains quite separate from one another became Known to me.
God is never not Neutral Spiritual Energy, and God uses the Shabd [itself a specialized NSgy] to access the entire Creation composed of vibrational realities that are separate from one another. Why could the Soul, itself composed of NSgy, not utilize a similar specialized "energy" to access and relate with the MIND realm and the physical realm of Man... both of which are composed of vibrational energies that are part of Creation, and thus composed of illusory energies that are not capable of accessing or being accessed by the NSgy of the Soul?
But if the Soul had a specialized energy that was like Shabd, it could remain NSgy, and an Absolute, while its specialized energy could interact with the other two realms of Man in some way. The concept was possible, and certainly it had a viable president in Shabd/Word, the only challenge was figuring out how this would work?
It took quite some for me to intuit the complete answer, but one evening the whole concept of NSgy and the Whole of Man came together in a concept that was extremely powerful... because this new concept became the "keystone" for many partially completed ideas regarding the operational dynamics of the Whole Human Being. A few months later, after trying out numerous names, terms, and labels, I finally hit upon the symbnol "Apaspyche". I liked this combination very much, and it seems perfectly suited for the crucial role it plays within Man.
HOW DOES THE APAPSYCHE WORK?
The specialized NSgy of the Apapsyche uses two aspects that allow it to work with all three realms of Man. One is the Attn Aspect, which is the faculty to focus, and the other is the Awar Aspect, which is the faculty of experiencing. The Attn Aspect, which is fundamentally NSgy, has the ability to adopt the energy of the realm it is entering and to instantly operate as that energy. The Awar Aspect, which always follows that of the Attn Aspect, experiences whatever the Attn Aspect is focused upon.
For example, when the MIND seeks to utilize its primary Defense Mechanism, it feeds D-Think [Delusional Thinking] to the Left-Hemisphere of the brain which activates the Left-Hemisphere of the brain and this requires ones Attn Aspect of Apapsyche to fix itself within the Left-Hemisphere for "thinking". When the Attn Aspect of Apapsyche is "held" within the [L-H] and in "thinking" what ones Awar Aspect is experiencing is ones "thinking" and not anything else... such as what might be going on within ones MIND realm? By fixing ones Attn Aspect of Apapsyche in the [L-H] of ones brain, ones MIND prevents the Attn Aspect from entering the MIND realm where the Awar Aspect might be able to experience what trauma is being actively repressed within ones MIND realm. This denial of what is going on within ones MIND realm is a major Defense Mechanism of ones MIND.
Those individuals with a higher fear of the "Unknown" within themselves tend to be [L-H] dominant. They "think" about everything, even what their emotions might be? It must be noted that these people rarely have any idea that they are in denial of their emotions. This naturally occurring denial process is unfortunately quite prevalent in mental health professionals today. It is a basic tenet of the curriculum being taught today. This is the reason the fields of mental health and "behavioral psychology" are in denial of both the MIND and Spiritual realms within Man. This directly accounts for the high incidence of teen suicide today by teens seeking help, but instead receiving treatment from professionals whose unknown fears unknowingly exacerbate the fears locked in the conflicted MINDs of these teens.
