Structure & Units of Navy

The Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) is organised with its headquarters at the Ministry of Defence. Its four principal ground commands are the Fleet, the Coastal Command (COSCOM), the Naval Logistics Command (NALCOM) and the Training Command (TRACOM). The Chief of Navy has overall responsibility for the Navy's operations and administration. He is assisted by the Chief-of-Staff (Naval Staff).

Note: Full-time NS man are those serving their 2.0 to 2.5 years of national service. NS man are those serving their 13-year reservist cycle. Reserves are those who finished their 13-year reservist cycle and will not be recalled for training during peacetime.
