IRONWOMAN  RACES
As you can see even walking around doesn't bother him with his bandage in place. He beat the big C.
The rear view is what most of his rivals saw on rides. One guy said he sold his horse because he was sick of being beaten by a woman. It never seemed to occur to him it was my horse  beating him, too few riders give enough credit to their one horsepower all terrain vehicle.
                              RABBIT DRAFTING
The new sport discovered by Aeneas during one of our many training rides, when coming home  through Bankstown Trotting Track carpark at night.
As you can see he works with his nose  down with the rabbit.  As the wild rabbits are only around at night. I had to use my Blue Agouti Rex stud buck for today. If you have trouble seeing him he's wearing a red harness. So when you see red  in the grass its not your imigaination.
Its fantastic fun, sort of like the big dipper at Luna Park and you never know when he will spin and turn because you cannot see the rabbit yourself, all you can see is the flicking if its tail when its running. The second it stops its invisible except to Aeneas.   Simply hang on and stay with him.
Obviously this could not have happened unless he had natural working ability.  He used to scare the wits out of the neighbourhood dogs who tried to heel him as we travelled the streets on training runs.  He was so quick on his feet, as the dog ran to his heels he would sit, spin and land with his forfeet almost either side of the dog and staring it in the face. The dog would nearly turn itself inside out getting out of there  Few came back for seconds.
Aeneas doing what he loved best, putting cattle in their place.  This cow is Little Jersey my favourite house cow.
On our first Quilty I steered him into a bog that had him sunk up to his shoulders. He was the one who got us out alive not me, and didnt vet out. Many others do after less traumatic accidents.
