Illusion is a powerful upstanding stallion and combines Les Ellery's mare Bethelem to combine Cudglebar's proven line of outstanding endurance breeding with Aeneas's. For some reason this cross seems to have increased the height significantly over both parents and which he is continuing in his foals.. He is available at stud and his first crop average 15 plus |
Well finally the promised photos of Mindari Illusion. Surely he looks more natural standing normally instead of the way expected of any horse if shown in the Arabian ring? Sorry the topline is so hard to see but the sky was too light. On the right shows just how long and powerful he is in the rump except he is standing downhill so looks high behind. V8 power rump though. Below of course is the peacock display so expected for Arab showing. |
The other grey you can see bits of is the mare Mindari Olympic Spirit. |
And no makeup or face paint either. |
Check out Peters suggested ASH standard on the Links page interesting reading. Who would have guessed they dont have a standard yet? No wonder the confusion. |
Apologies for my inability to press the shutter when his feet are in the right place like the professionals manage. I suppose the one on the left is the worst I dont notice hes crossed his hindleg underneath him. A second later he'd spun on that foot and was gone from camera range. |
More on the peacock pose |
