SEELE is the word taken from German to mean soul. It is also the name of the secret committee that controls NERV and most of the world. The activities of SEELE are centered on prophecies based from the Dead Sea Scrolls. There are twelve members but we only see five members of SEELE. Keel Lorenz is the head of the committee.
