NERV had a huge power outage when the Angel appeared and began to burning an acid hole directly through to Geofront from the surface. With only five minutes of power Unit 0, 1 and 2 attacked the Angel from below and killed it.
Profile: Matarael looks like a giant spider. It drops highly corrosive acid out of its eye, which is located beneath its body.
Fate: The Angel was killed with a large machine gun.
