One of the best defensivly and offinsivly designed Angel. The Angel glided to a spot directly over the Geofront and began drilling down to NERV.
Profile: It fired at any object that came within a certain area around it, or was the slightest threat. It attacked Unit-01 before it was able to fight.
Fate: Using an experimental Sniper Canon, that drained all of Japan's power, Unit-00 and Unit-01 were able to destroy Ramiel. Its body remained intact for the NERV scientists to study.
Notes: Ramiel is the patron Angel of Thunder and Death.
