Originally an Eva, Bardiel infected the unit. The Angel "Virus" became active during a sync. test. It destroyed the NERV base and escaped to Tokyo-3. The Angel defeated Unit-00 and Unit-02 quickly. It attacked Unit-01 almost crushing it's throat. Shinji did not defend himself because he might hurt the pilot.
Profile: This Angel was another "Virus". This Angel/EVA was quick, agile, and had elongated arms as weapons.
Fate: Commander Ikari used the Dummy Plug to attack the Angel. Unit-01 killed Bardiel and ripped it apart, crushing the pilot inside.
Notes: Bardiel is the patron Angel of Hail and Lightning.
